Hi,
Great forum! I have an x51V and would like to save logins and passwords like windows xp allows. Is there a way to do that in windows mobile?
Thanks in advance for any advice.

Get a wallet software like ewallet, flexwallet, code wallet or splash id. Check out my pda for a tutorial on flex wallet so you can see how it works and for a link to it.
I don't think that's what he means. I think he's actually asking if internet explorer can save the login and password in IE itself rather than in a seperate program.
Hi,
Thanks for the replies so far. I should have mentioned that I am using Opera 8.6 Mobile for a browser since that works on some sites I need to access (like WebCT) that PIE will not let me access properly.
What I would really like is something either in Opera or as a plug in that will automatically enter the id and password when asked like IE does in Windows XP.
Do the addons like Flex wallet do that?
Thanks again for the assistance.

I think Cain for PPC will log all you usernames and passwords for you. I know the PC version does. It is supposed to be WiFi hacking software but I use it to manage my PC passwords. It won't autofill in a web browser though. To find it Just google Cain for Pocket PC.
eWallet on the desktop PC has AutoPass which will autofill a username and password if you use the link in the card to open the page, but unfortunately it isn't available on PPC yet and it is only on IE.
What you can do with eWallet on PPC (in case this helps) is open a card and tap+hold on whatever text you want (in the card display...you don't need to go to edit view) and choose "Copy -fieldname-". This will grab the field contents straight from display mode.

Not yet? Does that mean that you are working on it? That would be awesome. The autofill feature in the Windows version is a real timesaver.
