Ahhh, the beauty of landscape mode. AWESOME!
I am so glad I put the screen to landscape mode on my new X51. Videos and documents such as Word files, pdf files are SOOOO much nicer in that mode. This is probably old news to you guyz but I just got this thing and I'm stoked.:approve:

I'd love to hear any neato tricks and tips you all might have. Anyway, thats' my 2 cents on that issue!

When it was introduced the landscape mode was a pretty neat feature. Look at my View MyPDA section I have lots of links to turorial and software. Feel free to ask questions if you need too. BTW Welcome to Aximsite.

Landscape mode is great! Reprogram a button to toggle between landscape and portrait, and its even better!

Even nicer if you tweak your registry to have cleartype to work on landscape.

care to post a mini-howto? I don't use landscape most of the time because of the lack of this feature...

Get a registry editor program and edit,

hkey_local_machine\system\GDI\cleartypesettings\of fonRotation

change the dword value from "1" to "0" and then soft-reset (don't forget)

That's it, not hard at all.

As far as the landscape quality of the x51v screen is concerned, I recommend this article (and the two AximSite threads linked from it).
