Will Vista Beta 2 sync with X50V

If I had Windows Vista Installed on my desktop PC would I be able to sync this with an x50V?

As awesome as that would be, no.

Windows Vista is for PCs, not pocketPCs. It weighs in at 3 gb. Your axim can have a max of 64 (with no memory upgrades).

This would be like installing windows 95, 98, 2000, XP, etc to your Axim, which is impossible.

I believe that he is talking about syncing an X50v with Windows Vista and not actually installing Windows Vista on his pda.

Well, I don't honestly know but I'm sure someone will be along eventually that can answer your question. Sorry I couldn't help any better than that. I just wanted to clarify your question.

There is a update that came out yesterday that allows you to sync with Vista. I have it running with my X50V. Some have reported great success, myself I cant get it to talk with Outlook 2007 Beta. Says it need to ne configured. But it does work for everything else.

I have a MSDN subscription so I have already tested my Axim on Vista and the last few versions but the latest, Beta 2 works great. Windows Vista uses a new syncing application for all your PDA's, Cell Phones, MP3 players etc. -- I have a Axim X51v and it works flawlessly for the most part.. its very different but very functional too.

I have not been able to sync my 51v. I get an error message saying the system can't establish a connection. I even reinstalled the Mobile Device Centre, but nothing. Anyone else haing this problem? Most folks here are getting smooth installations.
