minor problems

I received my axim x51v last week and just started using the SD card (1gb). I am noticing today that, at times, it is not recognizing the SD card or the programs on the card and I have to remove it and then replace it to correct the problem. Is this common?
Lastly, I have noticed that 2-3 times over the past week the axim will not turn on and I have to do a soft reset. Is this common?
Thanks

Wow, that is strange. None of those problems happen to me, and I have the same unit as well. I use a 2GB SD card and that never happens. Who's the manufacturer of the card?

The SD card problem has happened to me (x50v) several times before, but it isn´t a big deal to remove and insert an SD now, is it?

The soft reset problem I have no idea because I´ve got WM2003 SE

It is a Kingston 1 GB SD card. I know it is not a big deal to remove the card and replace but when it happens in the middle of my exam with a patient it can be a little annoying.

Have you done the fake server trick? The instructions are in a stickied thread in this forum.

I have that same card and have not had any problems with it (X51 WM5). Check out this link, it should address both the card issue and the not turning on issue.

thanks for the advice on the thread for the activsync fix. I just performed it and hopefully will not have any of these annoying problems.
Do you guys reccomend using the switcher bar to end your programs or is there another program like switcher that works better?
Thanks
