The cause of frozen x51v?
Hi everyone,
I'm sure that some of you crashed your Axim in the past. Even worse, the device just froze at the dell logo screen even after hard-reset. Anyway, I encountered this problem at least two times now. Fortunately, my Axim survived after 2-4 hard-resets. If I remember correctly, I have to wait for around 15 minutes for the device to actually boot. Both times, the situation is almost exactly the same. I took out the storage card, with some applications still running (something like that- very bad habit of mine). Then, I believe I copy some stuff from my laptop to the card and start using my Axim (forgetting the card). So, I discovered my mistake and put the card back into the Axim. After using the axim in the cradle (was it connected to the PC? I'm not sure), the device just suddently crashed. So, I soft-reset the device. And there, my x51v is stucked at the boot screen.
Anyway, do you guys think that the storage card had anything to do with frozen x51v? Thanks
Patrick
