Owner information

Guys,

I'm trying to change the owner information in the Today screen so that it will show other stuff instead of my name and phone number...why does it do that? Any help anyone?

START--->>>SETTINGS--->>> TODAY--->>>ITEMS

This is to choose whether you want the info ( owner info ) to be on the today screen or not.

START--->>>SETTINGS--->>>OWNER INFORMATION--->>>OPTION TAB

This is to choose whether the info is visible during bootup or not !!

2 choices ...play around ! :approve:

Could you please elaborate more on what you are trying to accomplish??

If you put : John Doe on the owners name, it will show John Doe on the Today screen.

If you have a phone number, it will also show on the Todayscreen.

Remember that some software requires the same name and spelling as the owner to install correctly. If you change it these won't install anymore until you change it back to the registered name.

Will have to reconsider the info before I apply my register number to ListPro.

Thanks guys. I know where to input the information in the today's screen. What I wanted to know is if I could change the view ie just my name with no number or an avatar etc. Looks like I might need a plug in for this.

Don't worry about it Zaniax. The name and key we provide are unique by user but they have no direct relation to the device name/username/partnership/etc. We've found that people change their devices way too often to lock the functionality in to that.

Been there, done that! Worked out alright after a few emails and phone calls but,
won't go there again! :hide:

I believe you can also use the NOTES tab and select that instead under OPTIONS which gives free-form text.

thats some pretty dedicated support on behalf of Ilium, I've never seen a software company go to another forum and try to help customers, besided Amit and SBSH. Thanks Ilium for caring.

This is what has amazed me about Aximsite since I first found it.

This is THE place to come for any kind of Axim support, hardware, software, emotional, etc.

There is always someone (many "someone"s in fact!) willing to spend a few minutes to help anyone with a problem or a question.
