I have the paid full-feature PC version on my desktop computer and I like it.

One warning, if you forget your password you will have a serious problem ad you will not be able to access your data.

Whoa! Cryptanier for Pocket PC!!!!!! I LOVE the desktop version, very helpful. Free too, what can beat that?

I just made PocketChange very happy, lol. :)

But hey, it is a nice piece of software, PocketChange! I congraulate you on making it!

(Any discounts? :) JK)

P.S. Do I get the QVGA version or the VGA version? I have the x51v without the true VGA hack.

it would be useful, but if ms doesn't even include this feature in windows xp (don't know about vista), then there's little hope for ms introducing this into one of their mobile OS's.

for me, I use resco explorer to compress my sensitive data, and encrypt it at the same time. otherwise, there's a freeware app called nyx encoder, which you can download at this website. http://www.nyxbull.net/download.php

Thanks ksong! I have a lot of pride and work in Pocket Secure! But wait till you see the new goodies that are coming with v4.0! :approve:

The x51v would use the VGA version, but PS is not yet setup to work with the true vga hack! This may come at a later time....

ksong, check your PM! :)

If I wanted to encrypt anything, I'd use Resco Explorer. True, it's ridiculous you need a third-party app to do some of the most basic file management stuff, but it's an awesome app!

Yep, I use Resco too, but you can't encrypt everything! PocketChange, checked my PM, got the code, and bought. Thanks!

Encryption

Hi

I have been a lurker for some time. I have had a few Dell pocket pc's and currently have an X50V with WM5. I actually only use it for TOMTOM now as I have a couple of other converged devices for using as a day to day device.

I am using a product called Becrypt PDA Protect on my Axim X50V under WM5.

The product is far from free but its solid and works flawlessly.

you can take a look at www.becrypt.com.

Sorry to ask here - does anyone know if there will be an AKU2 release for Dell X50V?

Thanks

Tone

No problem, ksong. You're welcome! Let me know if any problems or questions, and also check out the Free Skins on my website! Pretty sweet, and mostly made by other Pocket Secure users.... :approve:

If you store the skin in main memory will load a little faster! The load speed has been different depending on the device, but PS has a lot of bmp's to load, so it takes a little time..

I use Airscanner Encrypter. I like the virtual Volume creation. It can mount and unmount volume. I like having that ability to create my own volums and set the time to dismount automatically so i never have to forget to encrypt my open files. Great for being forgetful. It does a great job at individual files as well.
