Aximsiteactivesyncicon Not all appointments are being synced

After major drama's in getting my X51v to sync at all (see: http://www.aximsite.com/boards/showthread.php?t=130460) I find that not all appointments are being synced. If I enter a new appointment in either Outlook XP or my Axim it is synced ok but only a portion of the appointments restored from backup that are currently on my Axim are being transferred to my notebook. Same days are completely devoid of appointments and others have most but not all. there doesn't seem to be a pattern that I can discern.

Everything else is syncing properly, but it is as if ActiveStync...er...I mean ActiveSync doesn't recognise these as legitimate appointments.:realmad:

I have tried deleting the ability to sync to appointments and then restored it but this didn't fix the problem. Please don't tell me to reinstall ActiveSync 4.2 or do a hard reset or something equally as nasty because I have just spent the last two days recovering from fallout from doing just that.

Any help appreciated.:) :)

There is an option in ActiveSync that allows you to specify how many days of appointments you want to sync. Did you set it to what you want? In v 3.8 it's under Tools - Options, then highlight Calendar and click on Settings. I'm not sure where the setting would be under ActiveSync4.x but take a look.

Yes, I am aware of that setting. It is set to 6 months. I am seeing the problem with appointments that occurred even yesterday so I don't believe it has much if anything to do with this setting. It seems as though ActiveSync is not recognising *some* appointments stored on my PDA as legitimate appointments and hence doesn't sync them. Either that or ActiveSync is just plain flakey (which I think is a given).
