What is the file Pim.Vol?

Hi,

I have an Axim X51v with WM5.
Today I found this large file (over 2MB) which is eating up memory.

Does anyone know what is this file?
Which applications use it?
Can I relocate it from memory to a card?

transfer contacts from my Sprint newest windows mobile 5 phone to my pc.
the databases now are embedded and stored as pim.vol

Doesn't seem applicable to me, as I'm not trying to develop any app, and am not trying to access the data stored in PIM.VOL.

All I want to know is what it is and how can I relocate it.

Contacts are in pim.vol, you can't relocate it.
The site was for reference, thought I was being helpful. Hope the rest of your day is better. Just Google pim.vol if more info needed.
