ok..i just bought a 4 gb A-Data sd card and have loaded it up with music on my x50v...it works great, however, periodically my card disappears and i have to either soft reset or remove and reinsert the card. i've looked through a few posts regarding this problem, but in all cases it is an x51v and the fake server trick is recommended. i looked at the instructions for performing the trick, but i don't have the option to add a server source. can i use the trick on an x50v?
If you have wm2003se it isn't needed, if you have wm5 it is.

You might try doing a backup, then hard reset and see if you still lose the card. If not, gradually reinstall your apps, to see if you can pinpoint one that causes the problem. As long as you have a good backup, not much to lose, but a little time.
