Copy the CAB itself to the Axim and run it from the File Explorer. Don't try to open the CAB in your desktop computer.

The cab file is not supposed to be opened on your desktop PC (that's why you get the xml files); it is supposed to be opened when the file is already on your Axim. You can download the cab directly to your Axim (I don't know whether your browser on Axim can download or not). If not, I suppose you can use Activesync "Explore" function to transfer the cab from your desktop PC to Axim, or use a memory card as an intermediary.
After the cab file placed into your Axim, look it up and open it with the File Explorer. The rest is self-explanatory. I use Wireless Power many times every day. I like it very much.

Nice app. I especially like the cycle mode, wherein I can hit the wireless button repeatedly to get the correct setup: Wifi only, BT only, WiFi and BT, or None. I use them all from minute to minute!

I also like this function very much. Thank you mikelspikel for all the hard work! :approve:
Alternatively, is it possible to have an executable that simply turns wifi on and another that simply turns it off? I have a couple of scheduled operations on my Axim that use an internet connection (collecting mail, for one) and would be able to use MortScript or a similar utility to turn wifi on, run my mail program, then turn wifi off.
Have you given this any thought?
Thanks.
Mike

Anyone know an alternative download source? The linked site appears to be down.

The website must contain something that ZoneAlarm doesn't like because I initially get a pop-up alert from ZoneAlarm about something being blocked. Turning off ZoneAlarm doesn't help.
Update...found the setting that blocked the particular site and was able to download the file.

Good idea! Find four executables in the attached zip (BTON.exe, BTOFF.exe, WiFiON.exe & WiFiOFF.exe) The names are quite self-explanatory, aren't they? :)
The icons maybe don't look very good because of the white background. Any artist over there?
