x50v with iTech S38 Headset / Handsfree ?

I want to buy iTech s38 as a Bluetooth Stereo headphone and my N6280 handsfree. I want to ask if x50v can connnect with S38 with Stereo sound or not?

I have upgraded my BT software to Widcomm 1.6.0.600.

Mikelspikel and Beemer (authors of the Widcomm hacks) have this iTech S38 and it works fine for them.

I just tried to install v0.5, but during the installation, there are many files that cannot be replaced, e.g. BTCeIF.dll, it shows in use or in ROM. After installation, I cannot use BT again. Uninstall only make my x50v hangs. I finally restore my backup file.

I want to ask if there is a way to "rename or move" the above said files, BTCeIF.dll ??

Sorry, I am using should be "Broadcomm" v1.6.0.600, and I think it cannot support A2DP, right?

The Widcomm hacked drivers cannot be installed in X50v WM2003, which is your case I guess. You cannot replace the files because they are stored in ROM. Your device has built-in Widcomm. But it already supports A2DP, doesn't it?

All I can say about S38 is it works great in my X51v + Widcomm (after applying the speed patch)

Does your Axim lose the date/time when you change the battery?

I think so. Have a look into Bluetooth manager. When adding a new shortcut you should be able to choose High quality audio setup.

I finally buy S38, however, when I try to add a device by "Explorer a BT device", my x50v detects S38 and shows "No usable function is provided by the device.

Then I add new with "Hands-free/Headset setup" , they can pair up BUT no Stereo Sound in S38.

WHY??

In Bluetooth manager, there is no "High quality audio setup", where can I find it?

Originally, x50v uses Broadcomm v1.5.0 (I think it is Broadcomm), and I upgraded to Widcomm v1.6.0.600, it is the reason that I can't find High quality audio setup?

Thanks!!

I cannot help you a lot because I don't have an X50 but maybe this is what you need:

It seems to be an hp update to make A2DP work.

The sound quality is not as good as I predict ........ with a bit "sa sa" background.

Besides, I am using GSPlayer, when I connected with S38, the GSPlayer stops at every song and do not continue to play the next one. It doesn't happened when I just listen the MP3 with direct earphone line. Is there any other software that won't happen like this?
