Please advise - flashing blue light?

am so new to this I don't know what I did, but now there is a blue light flashing on the top right of my X50V. Don't know why it is flashing or how to stop it.
Thanks very much.

It means you have your bluetooth enabled. If you look at the bottom right part of your screen you will see like a blue figure 8. Tap that to disable .
Hope it helps.

That is the bluetooth indicator light. It tells you that the bluetooth radio is on. If you want to turn it off, click on the bluetooth icon (see picture in the title) in the lower right corner and select "Turn bluetooth off" :)

No alarm - this is normal if bluetooth is on. If you want to turn it off:
Go to Start > Settings, click on Connections tab. Click on Bluetooth and you should see that Bluetooth is on - just click "Turn off" and the flashing blue light should stop flashing.
Don't forget, if you should ever use Bluetooth, you'll need to turn it on. :approve:

Edit: I see I was already beaten by two posters. (Correction: 3!) :D

Thanks very much everyone

I have a long ways to go but am looking forward to getting to the point where I can help others with questions too.
Next week I will attempt to go to a WiFi Bluetooh enabled cafe and see if I can retrieve email.:)

be carefull. if you can download your mail so can other (experinced hackers) too. i tend to stay away from internet cafes.

*** i hate using the word hackers. yes i do know that it takes more then a few taps of the key to packet sniff as i have done residental hacking for my nighbors(in extange for internwet access when my isp craps out). ***
