Can I watch PSP Films?

Hi all,
A friend of mine has converted his (not inconsiderable) DVD collection to PSP format. It occurred to me that I might be able to either

a. Watch them using my x50v and a suitable program.

or

b. Convert them to a suitable format, which may well be quicker as the DVD has already been shrunk in size.

Any pointers would be appreciated.

Thanks:approve:

load up TCPMP and try it ;)
The PSP files are mpeg4, so tcpmp should handle them fine.

Thanks for that. I had a feeling it might be that simple.

Movies encoded for rom version 1.5 use standard MP4 and play fine. The ones for 2.0 and above use AVC and do not work.

OK. Thanks for that. Presumably I can see what format it's in my going to properties?
