Card Export on x51v with A12

I emailed Softick and they responded very quickly. They sent me a diagnostic version of Card Export II and told me to try some settings. I'm not sure that the diagnostic version is as important as the setting the gave me.

If necessary I'll post the link to the diagnostic version but I believe the only difference between that one and this one is that it creates log files that I sent back to them.

I have applied both set's. Both do not work (Win2000, winXPsp2). Has as a result received BSOD or the system informs: " a mistake of the device during a page exchange".

I have tried similar program WM5torage. Problem the same - the system informs: " a mistake of the device during a page exchange".

Has obviously put not in the program's. A problem in new ROM A12.

Here is the version that was in the email. I'm not sure they wanted it shared but I guess the more results they have the better. They haven't released anything new despite the report. Mine works intermittently.....lemme know how u fare....

This is a debug version, so it creates two log files in the root folder of your
PDA - dbglogfile.txt and dbglogfiletray.txt.
Zip these files and send them as attachment to support@softick.com for analysis.
Don't forget to spectify your ticket number (5042) in subject line.

One word of caution, the diagnostic version can create some huge log files. I have been using it for a few days now. You may want to just wait for 2.18 which hopefully will be out soon.

tlmeekins - tryed "your" version. it's very buggy but it worked (using Rx endpoint: 4
Tx endpoint: 1). I couldn't switch modes or change settings while connected...

due to the word of caution of Ken S I uninstalled it and will wait for the regular 2.18 to be out.

Has anyone tried the newly released version 2.18? I just ordered a Boxwave miniSync cable and I'm wondering if Card Export II will work with my X51v.

Download the Windows install file, I kept getting an error (Card Export Setup-Cannot Run Card Export Client Program) when I tried to install the cab file. Using the Windows install file worked perfectly though and I am not sure if it is a fluke but it opened both my CF and SD cards upon connection without having to switch between them.

I can confirm 2.18 works just fine with the new ROM on x51v!

I got the same with the CAB file...I will attempt the Windows Installer...

EDIT: When I tried the installer it worked.

Installed the new version 2.18 but found followings and demange to my SD

1. "Switcher Bar" did not worked propoerly until uninstalled the CE II :realmad:

2. Found a new task "Card Export Tray Client" running when you check >settings > System >memory. You did not found the same in previous versions e.g. v2.17. I closed it and the ion in bottom tray was gone.

3. It might not CE II problem, but so happen I hit it after installing and using the CE II 2.18
All my data in SD card were lost. I copied the SPB weather 1.6 cab file into my CF card from my PC through CE II. I installed the SPB without removing the old version. It installed but PPC started to hang. At no choice, I soft reset the X51v and found all stuff in SD card were gone.

4. I tried format the SD card using my PC through CEII, it seemed formated but there was an error message on my PC like "Windows cannot complet the format....". I got no problem to format the SD card with my card reader.

To me, the new version was not good.

Softick Card Export v2.18 works fine in my x51v (ROM A04 - Spanish).

It's true that apear a task named "Card Export Tray Client", and... what???. I think this task is necessary, but with 2.17 we didn't see it.

Switched bar doesn't work fine, but work. I ever use magic button.
