Java script and popups

Guys,

How's all the upgrading to A12 been? With all the action happening over the last couple of days its good to have the weekend coming (at least for those of us who managed to upgrade to the new rom).

Anyway I'm here to ask about using Java either in Opera or PIE (but since PIE doesn't allow popups - which I need for this Java applet to work - I'm not sure it will work). The background is that my work place uses a secured Java connection to enable logging into the network remotely. I can't for the life of me get the Java script to work on Opera...the pop up loads but it gets stuck saying loading a secured connection???

Anyway I've looked at cReme and the IBM J9 but have no clue how this will work or even whether it will work....so anyhelp from the Java experts is much appreciated.

Looks like I will have to buy Netfront rats....it would be great not to have to lug a laptop around to connect to work when I'm overseas...I'll get it tonight and see how it goes....

If anyone has anymore opinions that will be great.

minimo (although kinda wonky at times... takes forever to load and exit even on this rom upgrade ;) ) has pop ups sent to a new tab.

Java application Hangs at Java Connection Center

I got netfront and java work decently well. My problem is that now I can't get pass the Java connection center as the javascript is trying to download the ICA client but the applet doesnt seem to run...this is getting really technical...not sure if anyone will know the answer to this.

sounds like you need a ppc citrix client... i know terminal services is similar... not sure it has the same "reaction" as a citrix branded ica client...

if indeed your connecting to a Citrix frame check this page out:
