Targus woes for x51v

I have used the Targus keyboard without fail on my Tungsten T5.

I tried it on my Dell Axim x51v without much luck. Yes, I investigated the wonderful forums here on the Aximsite and read through the various threads. There was even one posting with a zipped file to assist if I downloaded the latest Targus drivers. All to no avail.

Has anyone solved the problem of being able to use the universal keyboard with their x51v please? If so, would you please assist this simple soul with how you mastered the operation.
