Laptop loses wireless connection after activesync

My laptop disconnects from my internet(thru wireless) as soon as i dock my axim. the internet just wont get connected unless i restart.
any suggestions on how to solve this

There were some posts about this shortly after the X51/AS4.x came out. Unfortunately, I just did a search and did not come up with the appropriate thread. Maybe you'll have better luck with a search or someone else can point you in the right direction.

for if you havent found a solution at this time: just download active sync 4.5 and un-enable advanced networking fucntionality (settings > usb to pc)

Yep, I had the same problem (as well as everyone else in the house!), until I disabled "Advanced Network functionality".

Start>Settings>Connections tab>USB to PC, then uncheck the box.

There is also an incompatibility involving Intel wireless cards. It will turn off your wireless connection if you try to share the connection when advanced encryption is enabled (anything above WEP as far as I know).

Not true, I run with WPA-PSK without a problem.
