Vista and A12

Has anybody successfuly installed A12 update using windows vista?? I have tried but I cannot get even to the place where most people had problems using windows XP. My sync with vista is successful though but update software does not seem to see my device.

No luck on Vista, so I booted into XP.

Tried but could not, as Sync doesn't seem to see backup on SD card

Not sure if it will make a difference, but have you tried with ActiveSync 4.2?

Are you using ActiveSync or the Sync Center in Vista?

If you're not using ActiveSync, you need to to load ROMs.

ActiveSync wont run on Vista. So you have to use the built-in Mobile Device Sync Centre. This is going through a number of revisions at present as new versions of Vista are made available through different channels.
So I decided that expecting it to support a ROM upgrade for my Axim was just to much - so a boot into XP for the ROM upgrade seemed like a good idea.
