Problem synchronizing time on Axim with PC

I'm having trouble with the time display on my Axim. Every time I use the ActiveSync program and synchronize with my PC, the time on my Axim falls behing an hour. If my PC says 5PM, then my Axim will say 4. I then change the time on the Axim after the synchronizing is complete, and the next time I synchronize, I have the same problem. Has anyone had this happen, or have any suggestions on how to fix this?

Welcome to AximSite. Have you checked to make sure both your PPC and PC are set to the same Time Zone (i.e. GMT-4)? Not sure if this is possible, but it sounds like they are currently set to different zones and ActiveSync keeps changing one to the other

yeah, i already checked that...i was thinking that maybe it has something to do with the daylight savings time settings on my PPC, but don't know if such a thing exists or how to access it

You should check the time zone settings on both ends again. This problem has been brought up here many times before and the culprit has always been different time zone settings on the pc and axim.

thanks for ur help guys...i got it figured out...instead of selecting "Central US" time, I had selected "Cent. America" time on my PDA...pretty bush league
