True VGA on x51v with A12

Does anyone know how to achieve True VGA on a x51v with A12?

Programs like OzVGA dont seem to work with A12.

The thread on VGA on this site seems to refer to non WM5 PDAs.

SE_VGA causes my PD to hang with a white screen.

Why is there not just a setting built into WM5 to switch to VGA mode?

These hacks are lame, do not use them. They screw up keyboard image,
password screen, some icons & settings programs and also people reported
that PIE will start crashing ....

Why is there not just a setting built into WM5 to switch to VGA mode?

I guess two reasons:
1. Microshit wants to pass opportunity to youngsters to make a buck or twenty
2. Microshit cares about your vision
Both actually exclude but what can you expect from Microshit .....

sevga would not work for me with WM5/A12, but forcehires works fine for adobe and pocket streets

Well, I have the oza vga stuff on my X51v. It was working ok on A06 rom and after just testing it works on A12 rom X51v

you need to copy some files to the windows folder and then run the ozvga.exe.

same method was for where you ran the A06 ROM.

FYI: you'll need resco keyboard as its VGa compatible. the built in one is unusable in true vga mode.

Just tried it and it seems to be working pretty well, just follow his directions for installation.
