So I have a student grant to buy $250 of approved products from Dell...
And I want to get an Axim X50. It only will let me get the version with no Wifi, though, so what wifi card seems to be the best for this model? I'd like to keep it small if possible, though i know this isn't always possible with CF/SD wifi cards...
I used to own an Axim X30i (i think it was) till I spilled iced tea and it somehow dripped down undner my table and into my Axim's SD card slot... >_< The only reason I really want a PDA right now is for mobile web/email (I'm at college and theres wifi EVERYWHERE, so it would be useful for me since i have a gigantic inspiron 9300 that's barely portable). I wouldnt be getting one, but hey, since its nearly free....

The grant is just money. Normally the way grants work, is that YOU buy it and they reimburse you the money ($250)
So regardless of what you spend, they should reimburse you up to $250. Go for the x51v. If you don't have the money right away, then maybe you can get a personal loan from a relative or an advance for a bday or holiday and pay them back when the grant money comes in.
The grant money will come as a check in your name, normally. Your best bet is the 51v.
