x51v A12 and PocketMedia causes critical system error

FYI - Pocket Media (v4.3.2 at least) causes my Dell x51v to crash continually. It meant that I had to hard reset it.

This happened even after I installed it with no other software (ie just after the hard reset). The problem occurs as soon as you exit the “today setup” screen. It continually causes a system error (and asks to send a report to Microsoft).

My setup is:

Dell x51v
ROM A12

I suspect this is a conflict between the A12 ROM and PocketMedia.

I would remove pocket media and see if it happens again. also you could reflash the rom to a12 again reading the instructions careefully never remove the device from the cradle during hard resets or flashing. I woud thing its a software conflict like the pocket media or some other program.
A12 x51v no problems

The only "pocket media" I'm aware of is The Core Pocket Media Player and the last beta version is 0.72. TCPMP works fine with a A12 X51v. If there is a PocketMedia, can you provide a link?

Sorry i meant Pocketmusic.... I dont think it is a problem with A12 I think it is a conflict with Pocketmusic (but it takes two to cause a problem I guess).

Shame because it has some really good features.

Disable the today plugin and use version 4.3.2 - seems to work better.... till a bit buggy though.
