Question Is there a BIG difference between Axim X51v compared to the Axim X51 520MHz?

Besides less speed and memory? Is the display a real big difference or is the screen for the Axim X51v just a little bigger?

Btw, is adobe reader much better than in palm?

Thanks in advance :)

The VGA makes them like two completely separate devices from different vendors.

Everything is just a little bit better in the Axim X51v, but there is no real BIG drop off? I know you probably don't have both devices to compare lol :approve:

I once had the somewhat similar x50mid and I regretted it u won't be able to run pocket snes and u will be more likely to strain your eyes on a QVGA screen than a VGA screen,go w/the x51v u will NOT regret it trust me and a lot of us on here that have V's

QVGA is 240x320. VGA is 480x640. That's 4 times the screen resolution. Another way to look at it: a QVGA screen will fit in 1/4 of a VGA screen; hence the name, Quarter VGA.

thanks, I am leaning towards the X51v now, but that could change when I attempt to purchase one later today or tomorrow when I see the final price :approve:

If it's too much for you, don't settle for one of the lesser ones, just wait until the x51v's go down to around $350 or less (that's what I got mine for). You'll be disappointed later when they go on sale for less than you got a regular x51 for.
