Skype, MP3s and the x51v

Hello Aximsite members,

Waiting on my x51v to arrive... I anticipate using Skype once I get familiar with the PocketPC platform. How do most of you use the x51v and Skype? Can you simply purchase a nice headphone and use the built in microphone? Or is a bluetooth enabled headset/microphone required? I would like to use one headset for both Skype and MP3 listening. I do not anticipate using Skype very often. Thanks for any opinions.

If you're just a casual Skype user, Koterpillar's suggestion works well! :D

However, if you're looking for a combo stereo headset, you can consider the Seidio 2-IN-1 EARBUDS HEADSET, RETRACTABLE. Seidio and PC-mobile.net also make some adapters that allow you to use your own stereo headphones/mic. Some of these items have been reviewed in the Review section:

Thanks all. I wasn't sure if the speaker/mic on the x51v was sufficient, but I guess I'll see when I get my unit. Appreciate the input. The adapters sound like a nice alternative. Bluetooth sounds cool, but have people had success with wireless headsets and Skype?
