Question Replace a .wav file with a personal .wav

Okay, This should be easy. All I wanted to do was replace the notify.wav file, with my personal favorite, "Message for you, Sir" (ala' Monty Python HG) . Thought the easy way would be to simply rename the file and copy it into the windows directory that contains the notify.wav. Not happening.

"Access is denied. May sure the disk is not full or write-protected. and the file is not currently in use.":bang: :bang:

How do you UN write-protect a file?

If you have Pocket Plus, soft-reset and go into Safe Mode (Pocket Plus Option) and then copy the file over from your memory card using the built in File Explorer.

I did that with some .dll files that refused to be deleted or replaced.:approve:

Thanx for the quick reply. Unbelievable! Try to do a simple thing and it turns into a minor Quest. Will give it a try, after I find a copy of Pocket Plus.
Just glad it wasn't a registry hack.

No problem. Try the trial version of PP at www.spbsoftwarehouse.com
It's a must have software in my opinion.

Got the trial version, looked at if for about 5 minutes and bought it on line. This does a lot of what I need. Also looks a lot more familiar to me. Good program and a good investment to save on the headaches.

Thanks again.
