Bluetooth® 1.2 enabled headset?

Is that what I need for my x50? I would like to be able to use skype but be cordless. Some of the headsets I see say 1.1 enabled also. I just want a comfortable, reasonably priced, bt headset. I get very confused by the posts as to what exactly I need. I'm not sure how to tell if it's mono etc.

I can't help much on x50 compatibility but, my advice would be to get the ones that support the newest BT spec at the lowest price. Bluetooth specs are supposed to be fully backwards compatible (so BT 2.0 ERP shoudk work with BT 1.1 spec devices on the profiles supportd by BT 1.1). I have found some instance where this is not true and I even have one Chinese branded headset thats supposed to only support BT 1.1 but I can get A2DP from it with one of my phones (in mono though) :) However, the place backwards comaptibility seems to fail is on USB dongles. I have 3 BT 1.0, 1.1 dongles where newer phones will not connect to even with early bluetooth suported profiles.
