A minor problem found

While doing extensive tests I detected a problem with USB HUB. It woks very slow because it is picking interferences. It is because I wired HUB outputs to back face connectors through motherboard without proper shield.

To fix it I am going to replace current HUB by this Manhattan one.

It has the advantage that it will go directly to the box “as it is” with no modifications nor soldering, just removing its plastic enclosure. Other advantage is the half part of internal / connectors room will become an independent module, so that people not having USB HOST can use it for other purposes, or jus remove it. Also, second floor PCB (current hub) disappears leaving more room for wiring or growing circuits. Another advantage: that HUB format has a wide range of models in the market (NGS, Trust, Conceptronics, etc).

I just ordered it, I will get it in two days. And just for €8.02 ($10.28)

Aw man, I have one of these hubs, stuck to the top of my PC tower!
I was just about to replace it with a USB 2.0 hub.

Aximizer version 2

As I said I repaced USB HUB by this one:
http://www.conceptronic.net/site/Des...6&Prod=CSPUSB4
I had to rebuild internal motherboard and some connectors arrangment.

Everything tested and working.
See connectors are better aligned now.

(EDIT 11.04.06) Added same pics web hosted with better resolution (added one more pic):

All holes filled

See the power of your Axim!!!!!!!!!

Next I will prepare a video demonstration in my car.
Video will show also how PDA picks car noise using Dell car charger and how it disapears when using Aximizer.

Afarre, just a little unsolicited advice. I would be careful how much you post here in terms of specs and pictures if you intend to get a patent.

About patent

Finishing v2 kept me very busy, I was planning to see my lawyer this week in relation with the patent.
I was not too much convinced it is worth, but if it is true it costs 10000 – 20000 I do not believe it is worth.
It is a device valid only for X50/X50v/X51/X51v.
How many people owning such devices could be interested on it for about $100?
How many units should be sold to get back the patent money plus development?
Think if I take the device to some PDA accessories company, I will get a small percentage o some small amount in just one pay.
I do not think it is a good deal.
That is the reason I am not worry about taking pictures of everything.
