Please help.."Not a valid Pocket PC Application" driving me insane!!

Installed stuntcar extreme using setup utility that came with it on my desktop while connected through activesync and i keep getting "SCE is not a valid pocket pc application" when i try to run it on my axim x51v.

any ideas?

Windows Pocket PC 3.0 and above, 8MB RAM, 4.8MB storage. Not compatible with Axim X50/X51 series!

He has an x51v. It IS compatible.

Note that you should only get the x50v/x51v-enabled version from Dell, not that of Handango. The latter only uses software rendering (and, incidentally, is fully incompatible with WM5 ? not just with the WM5 Dell Axims, but also all other WM5 devices. Unfortunately, the 2700G-optimized version doesn?t run on other WM5 devices either ? that is, until Fathammer releases a WM5 patch, in no way can you play any version of Stuntcar Extreme on WM5).

Here is the patch that got mine working, allowing use of the graphics accerlerator and the VGA screen. It wouldn't work without it.

I have the same problem with Toy Golf. I've never been able to get it to run, encountering the "not a valid PocketPC application" error when I attempt to run it.

I saw a guy claiming you could actually get it to run on an x50v with WM2003SE... but I don't know whatever happened to him...
