Software hangs when resuming from suspend

I am using some 3rd party medical software on my x51v (ROM A12) and experiencing a problem. I have a support case open with the software vendor, but they aren't finding anything. I am curious if anyone is seeing similar problems with other software, including any apps included with WM5.

1) Stop all running programs.
2) Launch the problem software.
3) Press the power button to put the device in suspend mode.
4) Press the power button again to wake the device.
5) Begin using the problem software. Immediately the system will get very slow.
6) The Memory applet shows program in-use memory increasing.
7) Stopping the sofware causes memory to be restored and the system is no longer slow.
8) Note that if I exit the problem software before putting the device in suspend mode, then re-launch on wake, the problem doesn't happen.

Thanks;
Steve
