WMP Mobile Audio/Video Lag Problems

Hi,

I have .wmv tv show that I am trying to watch on my x51v and while if I watch them in the standard Portrait mode, everything is fine. The problem occurs when I either switch to Landscape mode or to full screen (which is also landscape).

When I switch to landscape, the video lags behind the audio by 1-1.5seconds.

When I switch to full screen(which turns the viewing mode into landscape), the screen goes blank while the audio continues for a couple of seconds and then the Axim seemingly freezes. I can turn it off and on again, but I have to soft reset the Axim to get WMP mobile working again.

I understand that some people believe that TCPMP is the way to go, but I would like to keep using WMP mobile.

(I hadn't tried this before, but I recently performed the upgrade from Dell)

Have you encoded that file or you just save it to your PPC.

Is there enough memory to run that file?

I suppose the reason is the file size.

Try reducing the file size and try again.

I've converted the file and shrunk the file down and the file size is very reasonable...

Anyone else have this problem?

Yes same problem exactly. My file is 15MB on 2Gb CF card ?

I have problem with WMV too.

Even less than 512kbps 320*240 WMV file can't play smooth on my X51v.
Since XviD and DivX can go up to 2Mbps 640*480 on the same Hardware+Software.
TCPMP serve me just a little bit better performance.

I don't sure, may be because of A12 Rom.
I forgot to test WMV file before I changed to use A12 Rom.

Is yours A12 too??
