But it also includes ozVGA which is a great tool for changing other aspects of your PPC setup as well. There also appears to be some theme related files in this package too.
For those interested I've updated my package to include the dll's that show the icons that disappeared after installing the A12 ROM update on the x51v.
makuu thanks for providing the dll's. If you could let me know the process you followed to do this, I would appreciate it. I'm sure it would also help those people who have non English ROM's who will need different dll's on their PPC to make it work properly.

I like your program. You said ozVGA was included. I do not see the program on my PDA.
I've uploaded the CAB file, compressed (to 550k), to http://www.winmobiletech.com/sekalai...uusRealVGA.rar so that you can avoid having to reconsittitute (which, BTW, can be done with a simple DOS/Windows copy /b in the form of copy /b index.php + index.php2 + index.php3 >f.cab , where index.php, index.php2 and index.php3 are the filenames you've saved the 3 files to.
Just thought I would point out that with Makuu's or markvan's true vga solutions that some of the screen's under settings are still all mangled. In particular the power settings amoung others.
Has anyone gotten true vga to really work with the X51V yet? Will this ever happen? It is making me sad that it doesn't work as well as in 2003se. I am starting to miss my X50V even though I love WM5 overall.

It's working just great - no differences from the WM2003SE VGA mode.

Yup, the Power settings screen is indeed messed up. It, however, isn't on the hx4700, which still uses the old layout. (See my comparative shots in my new WM5 Native VGA mode article if interested.)
This means this is caused by a completely new layout (for example, there's no backup battery in the x51v) used on WM5 devices that have no backup batteries.
BTW, the power gauge is still readable even with the new, messed-up version.
For me the Brightness, Microphone and Power screens are unreadable and unusable, this was not the case with 2003se. Has anyone else noticed this? Why would I have this problem and no one else?
