True VGA package for x51v A12 EN

i seem to have some problem here with messed up menues.

installed in order:
SdkCerts.cab
ozVGA.x51v_A12EN.CAB
default_applet_links.CAB


but still the mic, battery etc are messed up, no matter if i choose default or the other one.

You did install the applets from http://www.aximsite.com/boards/showp...4&postcount=42, right? The Default cabs are only to switch back to SE-VGA mode, not for the "True-VGA" versions of those applets.

im used to dell wuxga for years, so im amazed that this came wth so low res.

I have downloaded your utility and will try it after next HR for sure. But now I have ozVGA installed yet and I can not say I've lerned everything about it. :)

However, I would like to ask you a question. How does your utility deal with "Brightness", "Microphone", etc.? Will I have two shrtcut within "Programs" like with makuu's applet?

My program VGAToggle does the renaming between the VGA and QVGA modes so that the correct files are available. So you will only see the one applet in the System area.

Hey, that’s really cool being able to run at vga res. Unfortunately it looks like a lot of the programs have cut some corners when coding the screen positions of the widgets.. They have assumed a dpi for positioning and hard coded it instead of calculating the positions.. (I'm not a windows programmer so forgive me if I have this wrong)

The apps I've found so far that don't position correctly on WM5 are:
1. the wm5 lock screen
2. my info screen
3. Battery Pack Lite
4. iSS Invaders doesn't work at all.

I'm sure there are others….

I tried that application, but it doesn't work for a lot of my games. I get a very small screen on the info screen also. I forgot to mention the program, VGAToggle..

Hi everyone, I just have my x51v. Can someone show me how to install this thing? I am so confused because I don't know where to begin.

I have installed
SdkCerts.cab
ozVGA.x51v_A12EN.CAB
default_applet_links.CAB
and true_addon to my sd card but I still have problems w/ battery, microphone, adn such. CAn someone help me? thx

If you installed all the cabs in the order you listed them you should have had no problem. The only other thing I can think of is if you have a non English ROM installed on your device, if you do some icons may not be visible.

You can also try installing the following package and see if it helps at all.
