Download Email Directly

Hi All,

I have been trying to figure out how to get my email to download directly to my AXIM, using a WIFI connection. I can create a new account in Outlook Email on the AXIM and download the emails to that account but I want the emails to download to the Outlook email account that I synchronize with my desktop Is there a way to do what I am asking?

Loaded question - is your backend mail server Exchange 2003?

I have my Mobile Outlook pulling down my corporate email using ActiveSynch when connected to the internet - works like a charm - but there is alot of config required on the backend.

Or are you using simple pop3/imap accounts, such as Hotmail, Gmail?

Sorry, POP3 email account.

Setup your POP3 account in the Inbox application - that always worked for me.

Although now I use a program called "qMail" - much more advanced :D

On your lapto go to web site "Pocket PC Magazine:Mobile" That page will give you 100's of links to PPC optimized web sites. Pick a link to open and put that link in your mobile favorites so the link syncs to your PDA internet explorer favorites. You will see 100's of topics, email one of them. I like the" Mail to PDA" site and the hotmail link. Plus you will see sports, entertainment, money, tech and all kind of sites. My provider is netzero which is pop3 and downloades to Mail to PDA just fine.
