Background tasks die

Hiya all,

I have a really annoying problemon my X51v that tasks running in the background tend to just die. For instance, I have pocket music running then minimize it to say play solitaire. After about 30 seconds, pocket music dies. This happens for anything, IE, MSN whatever is in the background. I was using wisbar advanced, then I tried magic button, now I don't use any sort of task manager and it still does it. Can anyone suggest what is going on?

Thanks

How much free memory do you have? Is there any other process that starts up every 30 seconds?

As I've pointed out in many of my WM5 tasking-related articles, WM5 only kills background processes when there is critically low dynamic (RAM) memory. That is, first, check how much memory you have.

Is there a good free task manager? I'm currently just watching memory usage under memory in system panel. I'm not sure about processes starting up

I like the feature where you can see the icons of the programs you are using on top of the screen making switching from program to program much easier. And the Today icon where you can go back to your today screen with one tap. Magic button is my favorite too.
