Disabling battery latch warning?

Any way of doing this on an X50v/WM2003? I use an extended battery (2200mAh) as my primary (not Mugen or any good brand name unfortunately) and it works well except for the cover, which is slightly wiggly (but still secure). If wiggled a certain way, it'll trigger the Ax's preventative sleep mode, "to prevent data loss." Can this be disabled in WM2003?

Add a little drop of glue on the notch that triggers the switch. That should do the trick.

I was hoping for a less permanent solution like a registry hack or something; I'd rather not damage or irrevocably alter the unit in any way.

I'm interested too. Maybe I could just do the glue thing... I guess if one uses epoxy it will probably break back off if necessary. I have a case that uses a patch of velcro on the back of the battery door and I have this issue occasionally....

I don't think Duke_Box was suggesting that you glue the cover closed. Put a dab of glue on the prong that presses the switch and let it dry (to lengthen the prong) and then reinstall the cover.
