why are there tons of bluetooth threads?

I have seen a bunch of threads (most of which are really long) about bluetooth stacks for the x51v. I have tried fruitlessly to seach these threads to find out if there is way to download and install a different, better bluetooth stack.

so can anyone tell me if there is a better bluetooth stack for the x51v? I would really like a better one.

i agree with psionandy! and they don't read carefully. The answer to your question is located in the first post of the the state of development thread. I'll let you search for practice :hide: that is the improved thread for the x51v. - works great.

Also if you have not upgraded your rom to a12 you could try that first, as the ms Bt stack has been upgraded and supports high quality audio.

So enjoy aximsite. search, read the first post in a thread. The stickies and the good ones, ususally update the file downloads in the first post. good luck

The really long thread about the X51's bluetooth stack is a testament on how crappy the microsoft bluetooth stack that came with the x51 is, which is why people are forced to find a solution with a different stack. Here is a link to the Widcomm stack. First post, look for version 0.50. Try it and see for yourself. http://www.aximsite.com/boards/showthread.php?t=122247
