Comcast email connect time...

I am using the WM5 messaging client to log onto my Comcast POP3 account. For some reason it takes forever to log on. I know I'm missing something obvioius. Any ideas?

TIA,

Richard

Try this registry hack:
1. For registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Inbox, create new DWORD ForceOffSSL and give it a value of 1.
2. Soft-reset device (or stop and restart Inbox)

Note: do a backup before messing in your registry

Thanks!

I think Tweaks2k2 has a check box for that!

Yes!! That worked great! It was always such a pain waiting for the Axim to connect to Comcast and get my e-mail. Thank you! :approve:

Yes. The Tweaks2k2 worked for me for a couple of other POP accounts that I was having trouble with. Thanks for this!
