You should try an empty SD card. This helped me.

If you don't mind had experience the same problems, check all possible file naming error for the nbo and crc file but could not figure out what when wrong. "Image checksum file not found"
Have tried with several SD card (all 1 GB) but same resolve, it seems that the bootloader could not recognize the crc file (created from note pad and exactly 8byte).
Please help.

Hello Everyone,
I also have the same problem. I was already able to flash A12 Rom Eng to my X51v according to the tutorial. The System Information in the AX already has A12 as ROM Version.
I did the Power+Reset after flashing as instructed but the Hard Reset screen just passes by, no option to press the Contacts button to Hard Reset.
Am I missing a step in the reflashing process? Would a reflash to A06 Eng ROM fix this issue?
Thanks in advance for the help.
HH

Everything is in the tutorial, if you have an error concerning the crc file it's because you have a typo in the filename. You can only be successfull in flashing a rom if it fits the bootloader.

Dear makuu,
Could you please give me more info? Really killing me to get it back on the track.
What you mean if I have a typo in the filename?
Did check on the top of the screen during my Axim enter the SD boot menu and it display " SD Image Update AXX_G3" does this means I have a different bootloader from the others? What shall I do now?

Flashing ROM
Well I seem to have done all the files correctly, formatted the SD card etc... But when I go into bootloader (wireless button + Power and reset) it shows "SD Image Update A10_G3" and I press action key twice, nothing happens...absoultly nothing....
Any help would be greatly appreciated as my Axim is currently nothing more than a paper wieght.
Well nevermind....seems it did do something!! It worked!!
Nice tutorial, thanks alot!!

If your axim is still covered by guaranty better contact Dell tech sup, otherwise you can build the nb0 like mentioned in the tutorial. However our website is down for the moment so you will have to wait until it recovers to get the tool.
