Delay diplaying Tasks on Today Screen

I tend to ignore benign Task messages on the Today Screen (e.g when it continuously lists the number of active tasks I have) if it isn't something that happens/due today; I'm worried that I may one day ignore a task that's actually due.

Is there anyway to prevent Tasks from displaying on the Today Screen until they are due?

I'm using Pocket Informant but there does not seem to be a setting to accomplish this.

Have you tried Pocket Breeze (or Spb Diary)? It's a today plugin that allows you to customize what's on your Today screen. There's a free trial.
