X51v cannot detect wireless, missing bars

I have my axim updated to A12 rom and did the fake server trick. I've been able to use the wireless internet at home with no problem after turning on the wireless button.

Today I tried to use wireless internet, but the axim is missing the wireless bars icon at the bottom right corner. I went to Network Cards and do not see any option for connect to the net. it says "my network card connect to: The Internet". I used my laptop to check that the wireless still works fine. There's a green blinking light indicating that wireless is enabled.

Does anyone have any suggestion to fix this? it's getting infuriating to have to soft reset the PDA once a week on small problem like this and the screen turning "static" like sometimes. Please help. Thanks

Try changing the "my network card connect to: Work" and try again.
