ActiveSync screwed my USB ports!

As the title suggests, ActiveSync screwed up my USB ports. How can I tell? Only my cradle/Axim is recognized. When I plug in anything else, for example, a card reader or a web cam, they aren't recognized. I know htere was a thread about this, but has ayone come up with an active solution? This is really ticking me off and any help would be much appreciated.

I already removed my USB drivers and reinstalled them, no dice.

do you have a12 on your axim. It has a usb to pc function on the connections page. Maybe that would help.

If you're running XP, go to your device manager, delete your USB ports and then right click your mouse and select "find new hardware". Your system will re-create your usb ports and you should be good to go. I've had to do this a few times in the past year on my Dell D600 laptop when this has happened.

Thanks, but like stated above, I have already done that. I wonder what happens if I uninstall ActiveSync...

For the record, I'm using A06. I read so many people having hard times with A12.
