Can't drag and drop

I connected my X51 to my desktop to synch, which worked fine; but I also wanted to add some documents for my Isilo reader; I selected the file(s) and tried to drag them to my SD card (by going into "my computer", then into "my mobile device" and so on) but was not able to....in fact, I was not able to move any files this way and I am pretty sure I have done this before. I did a soft reset and re-connected my Axim back to my desktop, but still no luck. What am I doing wrong and what do I need to do to be able to move files I want on my Axim from my desktop?
