Flight mode on after soft reset

I've been racking my brain for about 6 hours trying to find an answer to this problem. After doing a soft reset, flight mode is turned on all by itself. When I tap the animated icon and turn flight mode off, both wifi and bluetooth start automatially and must be manually shut down.

I think this may have something to do with me deleting the BTTray.lnk and Wirelessicon.lnk from the startup folder. Now I cannot get them back correctly.

If someone could post those two unaltered files from their A12 version I should be able to put them back into the startup folder.

Or tell me how to turn of flight mode permanently.

Thanks
Michael

Turning Flight mode 'on' is simply a way of setting both WiFi and BT 'off.' The PPC shows it as being on whenever both wireless features are turned off regarless of how they were turned off (in other words, yours is doing exactly what it should).

Oddest things is that the both wireless and bluetooth were off and it seemed like it was trying to connect somewhere. The animated antenna was going. Once I turned off flightmode, it would connect to the wireless network.

Another odd thing is that now it has stopped. Works like it did before. Weird.

I still think there is something funny that happens. I've had similar what I think is a similar situation. (http://www.aximsite.com/boards/showthread.php?t=137818)
Wifi seems to be on but nothing happens. Toggling in and out of flight mode seems to make it work. It all started for me with a BT connection.

Also, when I first got mt axim, Wifi and BT would be off, and flight mode would also be off. Now it seems all willy nilly. (excuse the technical terms)

Mine crtainly doesn't do that. It sounds like something that loads on boot automatically checks for updates (email maybe; some other web based program)
