SIP Keyboard options forgotten

I keep having to reset my keyboard options. It goes back to "Keyboard" after I select "Letter Recognizer" and back to not adding a space after suggested word. Is this a known problem? Is there a fix?

Try going to start, settings, input. Then adjust the settings.

Thanks for the suggestion. So I went there; did that. But I'm afraid the problem returned. My x51v just wants to use the keyboard instead of the letter recognizer.

do a search. There is a 3rd party software that will let you change the default sip but I can't remember what it is.

SKTools will do it. Also, most third-party SIPs have an option to set them as the default (Calligrapher has it under the 'Load at startup' option, Tengo has it in the Settings, ditto Resco, and Tengo lets you pick the default SIP at startup too).

tweaks2k also has the option... or you can do it with a registry editor and knowing which key to edit.

I'm just reporting that Tweak2k did fix the keyboard type issue. That is, it sticks with Letter Recognizer now.
However, the "Add a space after suggested word" still deselects occasionally. Thanks for the help!
