Renaming Programs and Creating Folders

I am sorry if these questions are answered easily, but I have searched and cannot find a thread that pops up to me as containing the answer...

My first question is how do I go about renaming shortcuts in the Programs menu? My second question is how do I go about creating folders in the Programs menu?
My third questions is, if I move an icon into a new folder, will it still active sync properly?

I am asking because I have recently installed quite a few medical-related programs onto my PDA and I would like to group them by categories (e.g., drugs, assessments, calculators, etc.). Most of these programs are set to download new updates upon each active sync and I don't want to mess anything up...

Moving a shortcut shouldnt affect the program. Since when syncing for updates as looks for the exe file.

Just go to file explorer, which is under programs. Navigate to /windows/start menu/programs.

-Tap and hold in empty space and you will see the option for a new folder. Type the folder name and then tap outside somewhere.
-Tap and hold over a file and select cut. Then navigate to the folder you want that shortcut in, tap and hold, select paste.
-To rename them, tap and hold over them and select rename. Type and then tap outside somewhere.

Thank you! I was trying to do this in the regular Programs menu so it was just launcing the program instead of opening the options menu. I truly appreciate your help! I can now organize my programs!

At the risk of getting flamed, all of this information was listed in the hard copy manual that came with my X51V.

I am sure it is. I was actually thinking of that while I was reading spunker88's reply. Don't you know that the internet=laziness :hide:

Sometimes posting the message and waiting 44 minutes for a reply (not complaining, heck, I didn't even come back to the site for three or four hours) is better than opening the manual (which I don't even know where it is)... Technology, ain't it grand!

Are you copying the shortcut or the exe. Copy the shortcut.
