HELP! Bluetooth Beam of an Email

I would like to know if this is even possible. I would like to beam an email from one PDA to another PDA via bluetooth. Both are Axim x51v.

I cannot seem to find a beam option when inside of messaging.

Thanks
Michael

I think its possible to send files from device to device using bt. Idk about messaging. Maybe if you could save it into a word .doc/ or .txt file.

I can copy the text and save it to a word document or note and then beam that over without any problems. Maybe this just isn't a feature that they want you to have in messaging.

Thanks

Not possible. Plus, I don't think I've ever used any regular email client that would let you "copy/paste" an actual email. Maybe, export the email then import it into the other client.

You can copy the entire text of the email and paste it into another document without a problem. just annoying.

Impossible. There's much more to making the given mail accessible on the other device (UID's must be stored; synchronization issues etc.) than just "importing" the file.

That is, the only way you can do this is text copy/paste.

Alternatively, you may want to switch to Qmail (read my Mailer Bible for more info). It doesn't store its info in WinCE databases and, if you instruct it to store individual mail messages in separate files, you'll be able to easily beam these files in the file system to other PDA's with Qmail - with pretty little additional work.
