Aximsitewifiicon I made a Ad-hoc connection, now what?

I have jsut made a ad=-hoc connection with a friend. I have a X51v and he has ahighly modded PDA with CE 4.2. We can both see each other but I don;t know how to do anything with it and he tried to access my network resource. so any help would be great. Thanks all.

PDA to PDA? Without software, practically nothing. With the proper software you can set up a proxy to share an internet connection (eg. if one's connected to gprs via bt), turn pda into an ftp server, turn pda into a walky talky.

Ok, so there is no built-in things that can be done. Correct? Software is out of the question because the other PDA is a braillenote mpower that has no software than the stuff the company releases. And that isn't much to work with. Ok, thanks for the help.

There is one "built in" thing that can be done. Use the Dell wifi utility to "ping" the other PDA, lol. But I don't think you'll get any fun out of it.

Yeah, get that WiFi walkie-talkie program. I think it was front-page a couple months ago here on Aximsite.
