Cant load large pages over BT Internet connection....

I turn on BT, I link to my Desktop, I got to a large page, such as a forum, and after 30 seconds or so, get the message that the page cannot be loaded because the connection was lost! (but AS maintains the connection, AND I can still navigate the site) Sometimes I can refresh the page and get more, sometiems I cant.

However, I turn off BT and Turn on WiFi and load all pages w/o problem (but DAMN does it drain the battery! 2.5 -3 hours on BT and I was at 51%, 30-45 min on WiFi and I was down to like 25%!) I'd prefer to use BT, but it's refusing to load pages properly, what's wrong?

On a possibly related note, when I connect to my desktop via BT, I nolonger see _ANY_ avalible services except AS over BT... (and before I had file Xfer, audio gateway, network access point, modem access (?), and I think a few others...)

Yeah, the WM5 Bluetooth stack is made by Microsoft and is extremely limited, you'll probably want to download the Widcomm stack from one of the other threads around here. That should give you back all the functionality you need.

perhaps tweak the MTU of the BT network interface (or even the network interface for internet) on the desktop.

Installing widcomm killed my BT. I cant discover ANYTHING now (including my desktop OR headset) I uninstalled it and am trying to reconfigure MS BT to reconnect to my AS connection (all I *really* need, I guess, since my headset's battery now lasts 20 min max...)

How do I tweak the MTU? Is there a program? (and on my desktop, I cant set s*** up, it's a $1 ebay bargain so it has a crappy interface (but it seems to work fine in genneral)
