In general, how stable is your x51v?

I'm not sure if it's just my axim or WM5 in general. I found that I often have to restart/soft reset my axim more than once everyday. I don't even have weird programs installed. The programs I have so far are tcpmp, opera mobile, virtual earth mobile, magic button, skype, chess and the software that came with the dell cd. Those are all the things my axim has for now. Does the unstability commonly occur in your x51v too? They are not really crashes, but instead the axim becomes sluggish and some programs start becoming unresponsive. Does this happen to everyone of you who owns the x51?

Mine has A06 rom and it is rock stable(knock on wood). I don't need to reset mine unless memory is running low.

not very stable. got lots of notes and files. And it will pause for like 3-5 sec on power on if I have the wrong app opened - like SPB Diary's note app. But Calendar is fine. And occassionally it will still lose the CFCard / SDCard (sdcard is less likely though for some reason).

It's about as stable as a yacht in a gale. I have to reset about about half a dozen times a day, and this doesn't include random self generated resets

Rock solid. I have to reset maybe once a week. I have about 25 programs installed (from SPB Finance, Textmaker to Calligrapher).

I moved almost all my programs to the device from the SD and since then its been fine. A lot of my problems seem to have been caused by MS Reader.

Well i had a lot of freezes before and i'm still needing soft reset once in a while.

The Resco Picture Viewer that came on the CD is not stable. Sometimes after viewing a photo in full-screen mode, it will hang. Also last night, for the second time, one of my pictures on my SD card was "corrupted" and couldn't be viewed. A few minutes later it was back to normal and viewable.

One of the little rubber feet fell off so when I press on the screen it wobbles around, not very stable.

Semi stable. I probably soft reset once every or once every other day. Usually it's because of a program that crashes, even though all my software is known to be relatively stable. Maybe it's just a combination of the bunch

On a scale of 1-10... my current Axim (refurbished warranty replacement from Dell running A06 ROM) is about a 9. My original unit (both before and after installing A12) was about a 3. Makes me wonder if Dell does more testing on the refurbs than the new units.

I have ROM A12 installed and my X51V unit is rock solid. I have only had to do a hard reset during ROM updates and soft resets daily only because I install a fresh battery each evening. My X51V is the best PDA I have ever had from a functionality stand point and flexibility stand point.

So far so good since A12 upgrade its been a 9. I got alot of stuff on it but i moved the programs i use most to the device. There is a short pause when powered on but after that all is good. Soft reset once in a while after I clean stuff up.
